Chairperson K. Sockwell called the meeting to order at 7:17PM.

A quorum was established with the following members present: Mr. Kevin Sockwell, Ms. Bonnie Taylor, and Mrs. Beth Wilson. No members were absent.

Wilson moved to nominate B. Taylor as Chairperson.  

Taylor moved to nominate B. Wilson as Chairperson. Seconded by K. Sockwell. B. Wilson accepted the nomination.

Taylor moved to adopt the minutes from 20 December 2022. Seconded by K. Sockwell. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously. 

Sockwell moved to recommend an ordinance to make Permanent Appropriations for Current Expenses and Other Expenditures of the Village of Jeromesville, State of Ohio, During the Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2023 to Council. Seconded by B. Taylor. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously. 

Sockwell moved to recommend a resolution strongly urging the Ohio Government and members of the Ohio General Assembly to restore the Local Government Fund to pre-recession levels. Seconded by B. Taylor. Both B. Taylor and K. Sockwell asked that Director Reynolds adapt the sample text from the Ohio Municipal League to match that of the Village’s language and formatting.  Motion carried unanimously.

Sockwell moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by B. Taylor. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously. 

Chairperson Wilson adjourned the meeting at 7:45PM.
