A RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF JEROMESVILLE AFFIRMING SERVICE RATES FOR UTILITY SERVICE.
WHEREAS, it is incumbent on the legislative authority to determine the rates for utility service within the Village of Jeromesville;
WHEREAS, it is the duty of the legislative authority to communicate those determinations and affirmations to the general public from time to time:
Now, therefore, be it Resolved, that the Council of the Village of Jeromesville —
(1) affirms that the rates for water service shall be as follows;

(2) Each utility customer residing inside the corporation limits of the municipality shall be assessed a two dollar and fifty cent ($2.50) fee per month for the Water Improvement Capital Project.
(3) Service rates for wastewater service, charged only to those customers residing inside the corporation limits of the municipality with wastewater service shall be forty dollars and fifty ($40.50) cents per month.
(4) Each utility customer residing inside the corporation limits of the municipality with wastewater service shall be assessed a one dollar and fifty cent ($1.50) fee per month for the Wastewater Improvement Project.
(5) Each utility customer residing inside the corporation limits of the municipality shall be assessed a one dollar ($1.50) fee per month for Stormwater Management Service.
(6) In multiple unit dwellings, each unit must have its own meter and be billed to its own account.
(7) The property owner of any property receiving service under the municipal program shall be responsible for any unpaid balances for such services rendered to such property, notwithstanding that the recipient of such services may have been a party other than the owner.
(8) That rates for water service provided in Section (1) shall be amended and increased by two percent (2%). All other provisions of Section (1) of this Ordinance shall remain unchanged and in force.
(9) That any provision of any Ordinance inconsistent herewith is repealed.
(10) That this ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after the earliest period allowed by law.
