RESOLUTION 2021-016

A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF JEROMESVILLE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO PREPARE AND SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OHIO PUBLIC WORKS CAPITAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS PROGRAM AND TO EXECUTE CONTRACTS AS REQUIRED

WHEREAS, the Capital Infrastructure Projects Program provides financial assistance to political subdivisions for capital projects to public infrastructure; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Jeromesville is planning to make capital improvements to the water lines in the Village of Jeromesville; and 

WHEREAS, the infrastructure improvement herein above described is considered to be a priority need for the Village of Jeromesville and is a qualified project under the Ohio Public Works Commission program; 

Now, therefore, be it RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Jeromesville that—

(1) the Mayor is hereby authorized to apply to the Ohio Public Works Commission for the funds as described above.

(2) the Mayor is authorized to enter into any agreements as may be necessary and appropriate for obtaining this financial assistance.
