A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF JEROMESVILLE DIRECTING THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR MOSQUITO CONTROL WITH VALLEY VIEW SPRAY SERVICE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

Adopted in Regular Session (6-0) 20 April 2021

WHEREAS, the Village Administrator has received complaints from members of the community that the mosquitoes are a nuisance; and

WHEREAS, this is a renewal contract from Valley View Spray Service and they have proven their reliability and quality throughout the duration of the previous contract; and

WHEREAS, § 32.010 of the Jeromesville Municipal Code provides that “the Legislative Authority shall have the management and control of the finances and property of the municipality, except as otherwise provided”:  

Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That the Council of the Village of Jeromesville hereby —

(1) directs the Village Administrator to enter into the contract with terms of $360 per application of Aqua Anvil and adulticiding to be completed in the evenings every other Tuesday;

(2) directs the Fiscal Officer to pay Valley View Spray Service once a month for the contractual services from the General Fund Administrative Offices line items;
