A RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF JEROMESVILLE DIRECTING THE VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF AUTOMATED CLEARING HOUSE PAYMENTS WITH GLOBAL PAYMENTS INTEGRATED THROUGH OPENEDGE

Adopted in Regular Session (5-0) 19 January 2021

WHEREAS, the Village Administrator has received requests from water customers to be able to pay their bills through an electronic check, also known as an Automated Clearing House (ACH) payment; and

WHEREAS, § 32.010 of the Jeromesville Municipal Code provides that “the Legislative Authority shall have the management and control of the finances and property of the municipality, except as otherwise provided”:  

Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That the Council of the Village of Jeromesville hereby —

(1) directs the Village Administrator to enter into the contract with terms of $10 per month for an Account Fee and $0.75 per payment as a processing fee;

(2) directs the Fiscal Officer to pay Global Systems Integrated monthly for the contractual services from the Water  Contractual Services and Wastewater Contractual Services line items;
