REGULAR SESSION

Mayor Spade called the meeting to order at 6:00PM. A quorum was established with the following members present: Mrs. Emily Farrao, Mr. James Bonnell, Mr. Nicholas Kelley, Mr. Kevin Sockwell, and Mr. Cody Gibbons. Mr. Mike Ritter was absent.

J. Bonnell moved to expel M. Ritter from the body pursuant to section 3d of the 2021 Rules of Council. Seconded by K. Sockwell. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

K. Sockwell moved for a five minute recess. Seconded by E. Farrao. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

Meeting was recessed at 6:07pm.

Mayor Spade called the meeting back to order at 6:12pm.

J. Bonnell moved to adopt the minutes from 18 May 2021. Seconded by E. Farrao. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

J. Bonnell moved to adopt an agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation. Seconded by N. Kelley. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

J. Bonnell moved to open bids for Village trash removal. Seconded by K. Sockwell. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

J. Bonnell moved to adopt the minutes from the 18 May 2021 Ways and Means Committee. Seconded by E. Farrao. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

E. Farrao moved to adopt the minutes from the 20 April 2021 Rules and Administration Committee. Seconded by N. Kelley. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

K. Sockwell moved to suspend the rule requiring resolutions to be read on three separate occasions. Seconded by N. Kelley. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

J. Bonnell moved to adopt Resolution 2021-011. Seconded by N. Kelley. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

J. Bonnell moved to amend Resolution 2020-02 number 4, reducing the wages of the Village Administrator to $300 per month and implementing this retroactively to May’s payroll. Seconded by E. Farrao. No Discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

J. Bonnell moved to suspend the rule requiring ordinances to be read on three separate occasions. Seconded by E. Farrao. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

J. Bonnell moved to adopt Ordinance 2021-09. Seconded by K. Sockwell. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

N. Kelley moved to suspend the rule requiring resolutions to be read on three separate occasions. Seconded by J. Bonnell. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

N. Kelley moved to adopt the Resolution 2021-012. Seconded by J. Bonnell. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.

J. Bonnell moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by E. Farrao. No discussion. Motion carried unanimously.
